A Day In The Park

Canadian Geese on Vacation in Tallahassee, Florida

On a beautiful day...

With free time to spare
Birdsongs on the breeze
The smell of flowers are in the air.

The best thing for the heart
Should be obvious to all
Is a quiet day in the park.

Close your eyes

See the green grass, the blue sky
See the fluffy white cumulus clouds
Slowly, slowly drift by.

The blood red rose, the pure white lily
Their smells are so sweet
They're bound to make you giddy.

Here come the ducks.
They'll waddle to you for food
With just a little luck.

With the setting sun as a backdrop
The colorful sky contrasts with the trees
It is enough to make your heart stop.

A day in the park
With all the beauty and splendor
Is always good to rejuvenate the heart.
