Rain, Hearts and Tears

As the rains gently fall,

My heart sends a pleading call.

Please don’t hurt me any longer,

For I can’t get any stronger.

Dear Lord, pray, hear my plea

Because the future is too dark to see.

The sun and stars are getting dimmer

And all that is left is but a glimmer.

As the rain gently falls,

A tear drops, as if on call.

My emotions are torn apart

And now they match my broken heart.

Soon, I will break down and cry

And all I want to do is die.

I have nothing in this life

Except pain, suffering and strife.

I’ll never feel satisfied

Even if my actions are justified.

All I can do now is sigh

And all she will ever do is lie.
